Brandon L. Comer

Brandon L. Comer Managing Partner, Comer Capital Group / CEO, CCG Asset Management

Brandon is an industry leader in assisting entities increase their fiscal position and gain equitable access to capital. He founded his first firm Comer Capital Group in 2008 and has expanded his platform through CCG Asset Management and Alterity Capital to provide corporate and municipal financial advisory services, asset management, and impact focused private equity funds. He has made a commitment to assisting entities increase their fiscal position and gain cost effective access to capital and has represented over 50 entities across the country, serving as FA on over $4.5 billion in debt transactions. Brandon has also advised and syndicated transactions for arenas, stadiums, TeamCo and league credit facilities, and ancillary developments including hotels.

Brandon holds a master’s degree in finance (extension studies) from Harvard University. He began his undergraduate studies in finance at Xavier University of Louisiana and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Mississippi College. In his efforts to further serve his community, Brandon co-founded and serves as Chief Banking Officer of the National Black Bank Foundation, and the Foundation’s investment unit, the Black Bank Fund.

Brandon sits on the Advisory Boards of Mississippi College’s School of Business as well as Carver Development CDE (Carver State Bank). He also serves on the Board of Directors for Rolling Sea Action Fund, the Central Mississippi Planning and Development District and the Urban League of Northwest Indiana. He is an active member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. and the Harvard Alumni Association. Brandon is a Fellow of the 2021 class of the Aspen Institute Finance Leaders Fellowship and a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network.
